Eligibility

To qualify for Premium, Professional and Essential SASLHA membership, you must reside in South Africa, be registered with the Professional Board for Speech, Language, and Hearing Professions of the HPCSA, and have maintained good standing within the past year.

The Premium Membership offers comprehensive access to all SASLHA benefits, including exclusive resources, professional development opportunities, and community engagement.

Ideal for professionals seeking all-encompassing benefits, this membership provides access to key SASLHA resources and supports your professional journey.

Designed for those requiring foundational access to SASLHA’s offerings, this membership ensures value while meeting your basic professional needs.

SASLHA members 60+ who have been members for 2+ years before turning 60, requiring CPD-compliance, and are registered with the HPCSA can apply. Email admin@saslha.co.za for assistance.

Open to SA professionals abroad, registered with the HPCSA, in good standing, and requiring CPD compliance. (R350 Forex fee applies if bank charges are unpaid).

Open to non-HPCSA professionals working in Speech Therapy or Audiology abroad. (R350 Forex fee applies if bank charges are unpaid.)

This membership is for professionals registered and in good standing with the Professional Board for Speech, Language, and Hearing Professions of the HPCSA, employed by a government department for their mandatory community service year.

Open to undergraduates in Speech-Language Therapy, Audiology, or related fields at SA institutions.

Retired SASLHA members 65+ who have deregistered from HPCSA can apply. Email admin@saslha.co.za for assistance.
