This presentation will serve to share both current, evidence-based practice as well as real-life experiences gained through Rob’s many years as a consultative audiologist, specialising in the field of preventative audiology. Unfortunately, as a profession, preventative audiology is given far less priority than treating those who have acquired unnecessary auditory injury. The presentation will walk us through how to shift our focus towards prevention, instead of only ‘cure’.
