AU Leadership Course

ABOUT THE COURSE:

Welcome to the online course on interprofessional collaboration (IPC) and leadership tailored specifically for audiologists. Originally developed by Prof. Juan Bornman and Prof. Brenda Louw for Speech-Language Therapists, this course has been expertly adapted by Dr. Alida Naudé and Prof. Amisha Kanji to meet the unique needs of audiologists.

This self-paced online course offers a comprehensive program designed to provide participants with foundational leadership skills essential for success in audiology.

Through a blend of theoretical insights and practical strategies, participants will gain a thorough understanding of IPC dynamics, improve communication within interdisciplinary teams, develop self-management techniques specific to audiology, and enhance their problem-solving abilities in clinical settings.

By completing this course, audiologists will not only bolster their professional credentials but also strengthen their capacity to advocate for change and deliver high-quality, culturally responsive care to those with hearing and balance needs. Whether you are a newly graduated audiologist or a seasoned professional, this course is an invaluable resource for elevating your leadership skills and making a positive impact in your workplace.
