Important Update: SASLHA 2026 Conference

Following extensive review of the operational, financial, and strategic realities surrounding the SASLHA 2026 Conference, SASLHA has made the very difficult decision to cancel the conference in its current format.

This decision was not taken lightly.

Council carefully considered the long-term sustainability of the Association, operational feasibility, stakeholder experience, and responsible stewardship of Association resources before reaching this conclusion.

We genuinely believed in the vision behind the “SASLHA Village” concept and the opportunity it created to reimagine professional engagement, collaboration, learning, and innovation within our professions.

SASLHA remains deeply grateful to our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, delegates, LOC members, volunteers, and the broader professional community for the incredible support, enthusiasm, and belief shown throughout this journey.

We also sincerely acknowledge those partners who stepped forward during this difficult period to help SASLHA explore possible alternative pathways and solutions. Your support and generosity are deeply appreciated.

Although disappointing, SASLHA remains fully committed to creating meaningful opportunities for professional engagement, advocacy, collaboration, and growth within our professions moving forward.
